International Gateway Co., Ltd. (IGC) is a premier telecommunications and digital infrastructure provider in Thailand, driving seamless domestic, regional, and international connectivity.
Operating as a carrier-neutral provider, IGC manages an extensive optical fiber backbone deployed along major national railway and highway routes. With 15 strategic cross-border points, our infrastructure is precisely aligned with the Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS) Economic Corridors and connecting to the Southeast Asian region (SEA), enabling the creation of a highly integrated regional network. To ensure high stability and resilience, IGC collaborates through infrastructure-sharing partnerships with leading state enterprises, including the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT).
For the submarine cable systems, IGC owns and operates Cable Landing Stations (CLS). Our initial facility in Satun Province has been fully operational since 2022, with expansion plans underway for additional strategic coastal locations. Operating on an “Open Access” model, IGC provides global operators with a unified, high-efficiency gateway that seamlessly bridges international submarine systems with our robust terrestrial network.
GMS Corridors:
The designed network for shortest routes across the country which connects up to 15 borders to be utilized as information highway supporting GMS (Greater Mekong Sub region) Corridor consisting of Thailand, Lao, Malaysia, Myanmar, Vietnam and Cambodia.
Trans Thailand Link for West to East:
This fiber optic and DWDM network could also be connected to China and India to strengthen East West Corridor Connectivity via the planned terrestrial and submarine cables.
